For the record, this is not the first place where I've heard that too many of the characters share the same level of sarcasm, and I've taken the comment to heart. My main characters will, I think, always be sarcastic--it's just who I am--but I've made certain, in the stuff I've written since, to moderate that urge by ensuring that some of the secondary characters don't fall into the same pattern.
See? Writers can be taught. ;-)
And you know, when that's the biggest complaint a reviewer has, I think I'm doing pretty well. :-D
