Hehe, aheh, ha ha...ahem...

*shake*

I'm used to my FAA spokesmodels knowing fuck all about the topic. Don't get terribly upset just yet.

You know, they could split that money up among the US population as another economic stimulus and I probably *would* go shopping with that one. Use it before it's gone!

Shit yeah! What's that work out to? Something like $15k per person?

By my math, only about $2,333 or so. (There's, what, 300 million US citizens these days?)

Er, yeah, you're right.

In fact, wanna know where my number came from? That's how much Rick Davis was pulling down from his lobbying firm.

In other words: awesome! Early senility!

The less said about the US, the better at present. Feel sorry for those of you who live there. :-/

....I think they learned the WRONG LESSON from the Obama campaign's disconcerting honesty during the primaries. Or else this is the Shock Doctrine taken to its logical extreme. For certain values of 'logic.'

Hopefully Congress works the way it was intended to work: slowly and poorly. As in nothing gets passed, that is; not some bad bill gets passed.

But the government is supposed to save us, right?

What I like is the double-hit: we're making this up as we go along but we still need to be placed in charge of the whole debacle.

And if you think things will be better under an Obama administration, I've got a bridge built with Hedge Fund Backing for you in Zimbabwe.

It's not an either-or thing.

Do I think things will be 100% fixed, with sunshine and roses, under Obama? Not even remotely.

Do I think they'll be better than they would be under McCain (or more Bush, were that possible)? Absolutely, without question.

I'm not naive enough to think anyone's going to fix everything, or even a lot of anything. But I'll take some improvement over none, and yes, I do believe that Obama offers some improvement.

THAT IS AWESOME.

Can we just print them up the $700 billion in Monopoly money to play with while the grownups go sort this out...?
